We had an absolutely WONDERFUL Easter this year. My entire extended family was together again for the first time in too long. It was so neat to have everyone there and see all their faces and hear about what's going on in their lives.
My parents hosted Easter this year and as a special surprise to all the little ones (9 to be exact) she had baby goats, baby chicks and ducks, and baby bunnies brought to the house. The kids were thrilled beyond belief. Of course their initial reaction was to chase them down in order to get their little hands on them, but the quickly learned to sit still if they wanted the animals to come to them.
To top it off my cousin Arthur (who is 13) was baptized by my grandpa and my dad. It was a special treat to witness such a special event.

Another Mass Update....:)
So it's been a while, been super busy with holidays, school, kids activities, and just being a mom and wife. Our last post was our annual Christmas trip to Disneyland, and the day we arrived home we also picked up 2 puppies. It has been quite a change for us - A TON of work - but lots of fun too. We have at times wondered, "what in the world were we thinking!?", but the kids love it and they are very good dogs.
We wrapped up our Christmas with a train ride on the Polar Express! The kids had so much fun as did Tim & I and we can't wait to do it again next year!!
Christmas was absolutely wonderful and lots of fun again this year. I LOVE Christmas and celebrating the birth of our Saviour, the family traditions and all the excitement for the kids. We have many family traditions we do throughout December that we all look forward to. Every year we decorate Christmas cookies just a few days before Christmas with my mom, Meagan and Melisa (a family tradition). We go out to Grandma & Grandpa Kohner's for "cookies-n-cocoa" (and Grammy's homemade soups!) and see their amazing Christmas lights.
Christmas Eve is spent with my parents and family. My mom always makes a beautiful spread of food and has a nice sit down candelight dinner. Then we all gather around and my dad reads the story of Jesus' birth, and last but not least we open some gifts.

Christmas morning we stay at home and we eat home made cinnamon rolls and let the kids have at it and open their stocking and gifts!
Always lot of fun and a big mess! :) This year we were fortunate enough to be able to go up to Flagstaff Christmas day so that we could have our "Kohner Christmas" up at the cabin....and it was a very white Christmas too! It was BEAUTIFUL! Patty had a delicious dinner all ready when we got up there, we opened gifts and then played and played in the snow for a couple days.We wrapped up our Christmas with a train ride on the Polar Express! The kids had so much fun as did Tim & I and we can't wait to do it again next year!!
